Our Goat's Milk Soap is made with 100% goat's milk from our four Saanen goats, Lily, Ruthie, Lilac, and Edie. We only milk by hand and we milk share with their babies each season (meaning we do not separate mamas and babies!). While most goat milk soaps only contain a small amount of goat milk and the majority of the liquid comes from distilled water, our soap is never diluted with water or powdered store-bought milk. PREMIUM INGREDIENTS We are committed to using the highest quality ingredients available, including locally sourced honey, tallow, and organic oats in our Oats and Honey bar, and therapeutic grade 100% natural essential oils for scents. We never use fragrance oils, which typically have undisclosed and synthetic ingredients. We always opt for organic oils if they are available. Our "Premium Bars" feature the most expensive, high-end oils to make a truly decadent soap. These decisions mean all of our soaps cost more to produce than other bars that use cheaper ingredients. To us it is worth the extra cost to produce a high-quality bar we can be confident in using with our children, family, and friends. Our Goat Milk, Oats and Honey bar is unscented and uncolored. Due to the milk and honey in the recipe it has a subtle, pleasant, and faintly sweet smell. The milk, oats, honey, and tallow in the bar are all sourced locally from Ashtabula County, Ohio (from Mud Run Farm, Coltman Apiaries, and Na'Kyrsie Meats respectively).
You are sure to love this classic bar! Honey has been used therapeutically since ancient times for its skin-healing properties and moisturizing benefits. Oats are commonly used to soothe irritated skin due to their moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.
